About Kohtla
Built on infrastructure. Driven by ownership.
Kohtla is a Nordic investment company that owns, builds and operates critical infrastructure. What began in the fiber industry, where our team has planned and delivered more than 3,950 kilometers of fiber routes, has grown into a group with ownership in infrastructure networks, operating companies and a portfolio of specialised brands that we build and develop ourselves, across furniture, power, industry and transport.
We are not a passive investor. Kohtla takes an active role in every company we own: we develop the concepts, structure the financing, and stay involved through construction and daily operations. That combination of capital and hands-on execution is what lets us take projects from idea to operating infrastructure, in the Nordics, Africa and the Middle East. That same long-term approach has made Kohtla an anchor investor in Kenya’s largest blue carbon credit project.
Behind Kohtla stands a dedicated team with deep experience from infrastructure, finance and industry. Together we share one ambition: building the backbone of tomorrow.
